Meet back-end engineer Sergii Tokarev

Sergii is 35 years old and is CTO of the company, RD Dev .

“I studied in Kharkiv, Ukraine at Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. There I learned about Finance and Marketing and in the second year we had a programming course. That’s when I realized this was something for me, «says Sergii with a smile.

Sergii is CTO and technical lead for RD DEV. “My job is to communicate with clients and solve complex problems: start new projects, develop architecture, setup deployment, optimize performance and learn new technology.

How has it been for you to work with Anders and Homesourcing?

We introduced Sergii to Joymo and the position of Back-End Developer. In April he flew to Oslo and worked with the team in Joymo ​​for three days before starting with logic with their cloud solution.

“Getting to meet the developer for free and non-committal was nice. It made the process efficient and gave us a good understanding of us as individuals and teams, but also of our product.

This works much better than video conferencing, where it is not possible to see if the collaboration works long term.
